Dr Beans 'Sluicy Lucy 3'
The good Dr's mods are finally finished for his little sluice box, the Dr uses a cement mixer to crack the dry clay clods and them tips the broken down material into 'Sluicy Lucy 3' the front over size tray behind the flip up door is to direct the over size to one side, the flip up door enables the Doc to leave moist clay clods in the the top to allow for some extra time to break down, the stainless spray bar is easily removable for cleaning out the slots if any foreign bodies get stuck in them, I was going to make the door flip the other way with spring tension holding it closed, but then I CBF,
Anyways, the Dr can send some pics to me to post when he has it up and running, I have to get to my Banker for finishing mod's :)

Thanks to all the posters there is some great and ingenious projects,
It just took me about 4-5 hours to go through all the posts sitting in my hospital bed what a way to kill some time.

Cheers

Jason.

Glad you enjoy it Jason.
Hope you are recovering well!
As a wise character from the television show; The Simpsons; once told me,
"you shouldn't kill time boy, you should cherish it!"
Apologies if I quoted it wrong but I have always remembered that line.
Back to topic and the Dr has done it again! Great looking rig! :D

Cheers,
Billy.

Cheers dudes, I'll post some pics of the 'Z' style banker when it's finished with some fine tuning before it heads off to spend its days as a display in a mates shop, a couple of 'Joint Ventures' to lock in with a few forum members, and an exciting new design and build soon to take off, lots to do, good times :D

DWT,
Gee I like your work mate. Very well done.
Would you like a rotary head for it. :D
I now have access to a bench top lathe for that touch of finesse.
(When I buy a new drive belt for it)

its probably been done before but after damaging a battery lead out bush a few weeks back and trying to bend it back into shape with a screwdriver i shopped around for a lead protector. nothing in the market apparently. Surprise surprise Minelab sell alot of replacement leads :)

Had some 5mm neoprene in the shed this stuff will take up most of the force from a whack . few cable ties i think its the perfect solution and will keep dust and dirt off the connections when i drop my gear on the ground. also makes my camerback just that little bit more waterproof
