Today i fitted my alice frame to my walbanker.
I use the 6mm bolt with the wingnut to steady it, while a strap takes all the weight wrapped around the leg mount.
Cost $50
Time to fit: few minutes drilling a 6mm hole.
If people want to make a backpack carrier for their sluice these baby carrier backpacks might be easier to find and cheaper than buying the genuine army alice frames
Started to make a couple of my woodwriting tools using some basic blacksmithing ( no anvil, train track ), tools, branch from a tree, scrap metal and fire. Next up is the T auger and an axe. I plan on having a go at making a basic wooden hut for some fun
I have to cut off the steel handle from the 'splitter' and replace it with a wooden handle as it is heavy as hell!
The other tool is a draw knife or de-barking tool
