So...to buy or not to buy...I really don't know what I'm waiting for really. Pretty good price with the 59.95 off comes to $1140.. it's the detector I want so whadaya think, it's not gonna get much cheaper is it?
Sorry too, O know this is 'what I bought' but kinda nearly that tho yea? :p

If the seller is Johnny Appleseed https://www.ja-gps.com.au/ he has been around for years and I personally have bought many things from his business. You need not have any worries about it being a legit deal.

Yes I've heard about the gold in them there gum leaves

I just bought the Matching Mag Wheel for the Spare from Ford   That came to $324.70 without the Tyre :8 That Hurt :(

Seems like a lot of cars come without a spare over here, In the back of the van behind a Panel they supplied a Compressor and some other junk, But No Spare and No Jack, they did try to sell me an emergency Wheel which is a pain because the law states you can't fit them to the front,

So what you have to do is remove a good wheel and tyre from the back and fit the emergency wheel to the rear of the car and then Go to the front and jack it up and remove the flat and then fit the good tyre you took off the rear and fit it to the front, which means if you get a flat in the front you have to remove 2 wheels, So I said to them So how on earth do I do all this on a busy 4 or 8 lane highway in the dark ?? , %&* that I said So I went and bought the matching Mag and be done with it

Still got to buy the Tyre Yet

Oh the Joys of Motoring, :Y:

Unfortunately a few manufacturers are doing that these days, all the give you is a tube of goo and a compressor which wont help if you damage the rim

I just bought 3 Twin Packs of these PIR LIGHTS, they measure roughly 6 X 3.5" or 150mm X 90 mm and they have a 2500 mah Battery in them and they are Solar powered with 180 LED's, I got these from Amazon,

Instead of using the supplied screws I bought a Roll of 25mm X 4.5 Meters Magnetic Tape that is sticky on one side and ran 2 strips of it along the back of them going from left to right, I tried running 2 bits Vertically But it did not Grip metal as Good as it dose going from L to R then I roughed up the Tape to take the shine off it Sanding along the length of the Tape and it Gripped really well,

Anyways the reason for these is for when I go Bush I can place one on each side of the Van and one on each end So no matter where I walk around Camp they will light up the area,

They have 3 settings, 1) All 180 LED's come on when you break the Beam and then go off once no one is near, 2) When you break the Beam it comes on very bright and then once you are out of Range they stay On but they drop the brightness by about 50 or 60% and they stay at that brightness unless someone breaks the beam again and they Get bright again and after 15 seconds they go back to the 50% mode again, 3) On this setting they Just come on and Stay on, There is a little Button on the front near the PIR sensor that you have to press for a couple of second to power them up and each Quick press changes the mode and on the third press it turns them off,

These are Great for around the Camp but also warn you when others are Near, Plus they will spook anyone up to no good,

Anyways hope that helps,

J

EDIT:- Oh and they have a 2 year warranty and the brightness is 2000 Lumins

MB, If you want Some I will send them for you If you want, ?? They are bright little devils, Even under street lights in the City they will still cast a light 30+ feet away and the PIR Beam works around 5 meters + away under street lights so they would be better in the Bush.

Top Man DD, Well Done,

They are similar either ones should do the job, The ones I got I couldn't believe how bright they are I bought one pair just before Christmas and I was so impressed that I ordered another 3 pairs, Took one out in the rain last night with 40 mph winds and got soaked and they worked really well, Then I tried one indoors as an emergency light and they were great, So I stuck a pair by the window to charge up just in case Ay, :Y:

I ordered My Van/Camper conversion kit last week So that should be ready in a week or two And Today My 1500w/3000w Pure Sign Wave Inverter turned up today :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

So when the conversion is done I can start doing the wiring,

And Yesterday I ordered a portable Dunny and some disposable toilet rolls Coz No jobs finished til the Paper works Done, lololol

That should be here tomorrow. :Y:

The lights are excellent.
I have similar units, been using them around the camp site as a security light and to prevent tripping etc when going for a midnight stroll to the tree.
I made these hangers to hang the lights over the van windows on either side of the van, makes the wife feel warm and fuzzy when camping.
If they dont charge enough due to be ing overcast etc.. you can open the back of the unit and change the batteries as well, they use standard 18650's

Same as your light but a bit longer about 30cm.

I dont get her to use the tree, I wake her and get her to empty the pee bucket after I use it, 50 feet away from the camp site, so It dont smell the van out.
You got me all wrong, sorry if I made you think I was thoughtless or insensitive..
