Recently bought a couple of local history books for the collection. Bar Dangerous is a history of shipping in Newcastle. I originally bought it when it was released but lent it to someone who never returned it. It took me 6 years to find this copy and I paid double the original price. :/

The Hunter is Scott Bevan Ex ABC Journo who travelled from the tiny trickle that is the beginning of the Hunter river down to the harbour. Haven't read it yet.

Just received my Dyneema rope to replace the heavy steel cable in my 12000lb winch. Take a bit of weight of the front of the Pathy.

ive been meaning to do that for years jaros.... after ripping my cable stabling my hand i threw it out in council pickup back in 2013.... been meaning to buy dyneema but havent got around to it. how much did ya fork out?
