Night time - work and family commitments have pushed me to become a nightime detectorist and its has its advantages where i am.

Im usually on the grog whilst detecting of an evening. OH&S priorities hey mate. Gets a bit hairy once the camp fires dwindles out of site.steelPHASE said:Early morning, late evening and night.
Lower emi, mineralised ground seems to become less noisy the cooler it gets, its generally quieter, and the less serious prospectors are asleep or on the grog.
