Its very easy in this new Technological Age, to sit in front of yer computer and converse with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Theres a certain...anoniminty about it though, after all one is lulled into a sense of...( for lack of a better way of saying it,)false seperation... thats quite different then speaking with one face to face, or even over the phone.
Tonight i had the pleasure of speaking over the phone to one of our members and as a result I look forward to the near future in having a conversation in the (face to face) mode.
Through the phone,one picks up on the timbre and tone... a whole lot about the sincerity and strength of character of the person on the other end..at least thats my experience thus far..and I am seldom disappointed in my observations..tonight I got a call from a gentlman who is obviously one of the True Blue amongst us..a man of substance and generosity..readers might think I'm talking of blokes like Bazza,Tarthradj.Dr Duck etc etc..I am..but I'm not specifically, for there are so many on here that fit the criterior as outlined above...alright, alright... I know I tend to waffle on :p Marksman 7.62 I am referring to you Ken.. The last thing I would want to do is embarass you mate but your a standout and I thank you from my heart for your generosity to me,and what I hope will be a long term friendship. :cool: Cheers ......Rossco
 
Have arranged to meet up with 7.62 marksman in the near future for a dig at the Forde. The man is a legend and I can't wait to shake his hand.Iwas complaining to him about my knee which is blown up like a baloon from a tweaked ligament..he recommended Rapigel, which he tells me they use on horses and dogs for similar injuries... I reckon if it works for them then it should fix this old Donkey as well :p Anyway Ken followed through on a commitment to me that he could easily have let ride...but he did'nt..he stuck to his promise and i will forever be grateful to him for what he has done for me.See you soon Ken..soon after they let me out of the stables! :cool:

Yes reefer here here Mr.M 7.62 put me into contact with a friend of his close to where I was going recently over the holidays but unfortunately he was right and the phone reception was another obstacle I had not encounted ever since the contraptions began so I didn't follow through with his friend much to my regret. Lack of enough prior planning on my behalf and I agree with the true blue part I'm sure you will have a terrific time good luck :Y: hope you take a few films. ;)
 
Well , I took 7.62 Marksman's advice and got me some of that Rapigel for me dicky knee. It went on kinda cold like and after about 2hours or so I swear it got worse.Anyway then I remembered he said wrap it up and apply heat. So I gets out the you-beaut bag thingo that yer heat up in the microwave and I start applying heat...holy *****!...After about 15 minutes I unwrap the bandage I had it wrapped in and...bloody heck!..there was this kinda clear liguid pouring out of my skin!..It seemed that it was working like a drawing agent....so I waited till just before I went to bed and re-did the whole thing. When I awoke yesterday I unwrap the thing again for inspection.
Holy ***** again!...the swelling had reduced all over the inside of my knee , to an area right over the sorest part and the constant ache had greatly diffused! So I continued with a further three treatments over the course of the day and just before I hit the sack last night...Today I mowed the lawn..which was halfway up the fence ;) at least it was flamin' hard going..but not a murmur from the knee...and I'm sure those horse-mones.. :p have gone to me brain 'cause I'm prouncing around like a horny stallion :eek: hehehe...going to do the other knee..which has been suffering a little for a long time now, and I know its the ligament as well...so thanks again Ken I swear by this gear!...but its the application of heat thats the clincher.. I'm sure of it...all round I'd say its the go :cool: cheers ta yers!..Rossco. :Y:
