Sydney park find highlights from last two months

Hi All,

Just thought Id share some highlights from my Sydney digs over past two months including an 1879 British Penny and a holed British Half Penny from the 1870s, an Australian Infrantry Hat Badge Circa 60-70s and some nice silvers. Also got about $100 of spendables, a heap other toasty pennies and about 10kgs of canslaw, bottle tops and ring pulls. Was hard work but great fun. Anyway enjoy ?

Hi All,

Here are my January finds highlights:

Coins
- 2 x 1953 Half Pennies
- 1926 Half Penny
- 1929 Half Penny
- 1943 Penny

Silver
- No coins
- Huge CTR ring

Keys
- 3.5 x modern keys
- 1 x old skeleton key (help with age would be appreciated - it seems to be plated with some type of metal but not sure what it is)

Badges
- Corgi Model Club Badge circa 70s
- Sydney Olympic 50 day badge

Misc
- 1 x Pick-Me-Up Sauce Bottle with lid intact circa 1950s (I think)

Plus...

$178 of spendables!!! (the picture doesnt show then all)

So very lean for pre-decimal coins but made up somewhat for by the spendables.

Need to find some older places to dig.

Note, I was running park mode with my Nox 600 and only detecting VDI signals 20-40, prob missing out on gold and 50 cent pieces but theres only so many ring pulls and beer bottle caps I can dig before losing it... haha! Will go over some of the juicier places again with no descrimination...one day when I have more time.
