Yes every one it was worth getting up early. Ill get some one to have a look at it next week depending on the value ill make a decision to either repair or sell. Yep you are probably right a find like that wont come around very often. By the way it weighs 28 grams. Bazz.
 
Gday Hope your Australia Day is going well. Went for a quick swing down the beach this morning. Only came up with one ring and some trash. The ring has no marks on it. Is there a way to tell what it is made of? The stone is clear. It could be glass, zircon, diamond or something else.

I suspect if there are no markings then it is probably a plated junker, will sometimes see copper coming through if there is any wear on the ring. What ID number does your detector come up with? :Y:
 
Thanks For the tip Goldpick. I took the ring into the front garden with the nox 800 the number I got was 19. If I get curious I might have a scratch on the inside of it. It looks like one for the granddaughter.
