Looks very much like a widow species such as redbacks, but in saying that I have no idea. Interesting spidey nonetheless.

Very much widow shape but built like a widow on steroids. Aggressive like a funnel web the way it rears up when you approach it.

Mind you...these things creep me out more than the spiders do....

Mate those things really really hurt!
About 10 x worse than a bull ant or wasp!

I was digging an old bottle dump in Queersland many years ago when l felt something under my pants crawling up my leg.
My dacks have never hit the ground any quicker than they did that day, and it was a bloody huge centipede about 10 to 12 long.
 
In the bush (Manly Dam Reserve) just up the road from my old place there were centipedes that were at least 1 foot long, big greeny black things with yellow legs, they always used to creep me out. You wouldn't see them ofter but occasionally if you lifted up a big rock they would be underneath.

Documentation says they can get over 20cm long, though I've seen them at least 30cm long. Would not like to be bitten by one.
