Have dug some deep holes when using big coils on a SD2000/2100/2200 and back then had a ML 1600 in the carry bag on my belt with a 6in coil for pin pointing.

Last year dug some deep holes with my Z and a few times asked my wife to change her 4500 to a small coil for pinpointing resulting in some gold and deep rubbish.

The ML 16000 is long gone, I recall years ago using my Sovereign in trash'ie area in Vic and finding a 2gm'er down around 3in in mild mineralized ground and was wondering how the Sovereign would go with a round 6in coil ( if one was available) as a pin pointer.

Note I have a ML Pinpointer.

What got me thinking about pin pointing, was thinking about buying the Z19 coil(subject to ML claimes being met) and the potential for deeper holes/more effort.

Still use my soverign with double D coil to pin piont hard to find targets . Also use the after market diigital meter sometimes to id targets as it is pretty reliable
