Hi
I finally had a day to detect down at the NSW south coast, my first swing of the 5000 since February.
I had decided on three spots following some research of the area I was going to visit and did not get past spot A.
My first piece, a lovely specimen of about 1.5 grams screamed as it was just under the surface on some quartz gravel. The second piece came out of the top of a pile of quartz gravel.
Continued to wander and detecting likely ground with heaps of lead targets cleaned out!.
