Something Ive had to think about..

Was having a drive around the Tibooburra,common ,and came across what looked detector holes on a couple of areas, but they seamed to be in a uniform patern, just too even across the slopes .Thought someone was having a joke,but went to too much trouble, I now think some one must have been taking samples..No other activity except these shallow scrapings..No nuggets either..Any thoughts?..

how are you finding the new 7000 vs your 5000?

did you sell and upgrade or keep the 5000?

I have the 5000 with a mate and thinking about the 7000

Not sure exactly, probably best to ask in the (Gemstones, Minerals & Fossils) section of the forum. Its not a lot for the size of'em. I think he just does it for his mineral collection and probably made a bit of extra cash on the side.

We have both, they compliment each other.
I have had an injured wing for awhile so Mrs Redfin has been using the 7k exclusively and the depths have been amazing.
But we will run both when I get better.

Thanks Guy,s..I first thought hell this is a big patch but then patterns started to appear..Then I thought someone's trying to be smart..But they went to a lot of trouble..I don't think they found anything...I didn't...Getting more interested in the dark side..I mean digging and processing..There is another side to Gold besides detecting..Cheers
