I have a bad back so Detect nuggets the easiest way I know how,. Creviceing.
My detector goes Off in a Crevice I know with Almost %100 certainty there is going to be a small nugget or two - 3 that sets the Detector off and very likely a few small ones.
%90 of the time this works for me.

I thought Gold in rocks might be another aspect for me to look at, but its proving difficult due to my lack of knowledge so I will persevere with Creviceing & maybe get Lucky with some rocks with gold in as I go Along stream beds.

When I started doing this a few years back We were assured of Dry weather in Winter and stream beds with %60 - % 75
less water , it just Never rained in winter here but now it bloody Pours down.
sods Law I guess.

I am sure Plenty of people Want to get into Gold prospecting & seeing the Youtube vids gets the Gold Fever going, you see those 10 -15 vids of the Hard Yakka Hole digging & the nuggets. if your backs injured Ya just know where its all going to lead you.

So Creviceing with a Detector you can take your Folding Tripod stool sit on your ass if your inclined & scratch away to you see your nugget/s appear.

Works for me.

Mate they must be some pretty big crevises with the size of some of those nuggets.sure it wasn't an old earth quake fault you fell into.

I am led to believe that this image also appears at the http://translate.google.com.au/tran...r.sannet.ne.jp/p-omori/A12_41.htm&prev=search

Google translates as" "This gold dust is part of the exhibition lending stuff in Sengoku daimyo Hitachi Satake Exhibition of Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of History."

You display this at Museums as well?

mmmm, Im starting to wonder about the credibility myself now mate. Suspicions rose when my thread was not replied too.

Either we are being hooded, or this is the best patch of virgin ground left in the modern world.

I cant help but detect the scent of a rat though.

Nice work loamer! ;)

What happened to the other pics this guy posted of the wire gold, someone asked him if he found it- now it has all been deleted from his first topic.
I think loamer has figured it out.
