I heard of a similar issue up in the topend where a motorcycle tour company used a certain road with the owners permission, but someone with the mentality of half a bag of wet sand decided he didn't want the bikes using this particular road and he spiked it, with telling consequences no doubt.
The tour guide and the tour owner operator with several bike riders paid this certain gentleman a visit, and in gentlemanly fashion explained to him the spikes were to be removed or there might be more than the bike tyres suffering because of it....point taken and no more incidents with tyres on that property.
It's funny how the police can't or won't act but a few kind words coming from an irate tour group has good effect....my point with all this spiking "BS" is that if there was an emergency? what do you say to the poor person in desperate need of medical assistance? hang on mate we got 1, 2, 4 flat tyres, looks like your out of luck sorry mate stiff Sh.......T.

Just thought that I would let you know that I purchased a 12mp version of this camera for another purpose and it was faulty out of the box. Good news is that the supplier was very responsive and sent a reply paid AustPost voucher to return the unit for them to test and replace as required.

I only returned the unit last Thursday so will give them until end next week to respond, then will go via Ebay to get my $$ back.

Slightly off topic, I recently found several dozen bent nails on a small track in a state forest while detecting there. They appeared to have been there for a while, as they were very close to the surface or in lightly grassed stuff and were galvanised, so not there from the early days. Took me several hours to clean up the patch, but I am sure that I will have missed a couple so I won't be driving along that track, but what about others, so take care out there.

Not sure why they did it as I didn't find any gold further up, likely just richard craniums.
