Some sad news came to light yesterday.
A good friend and fellow Gold Prospector has been admitted to CBH into Palliative care.
Jason is a real soldier, excellant bushman and a true, hands on Gold Prospector.
He would think nothing of hiking 10 kays, just to get to an unvisited part of a creek in search of the yella stuff.
At Christmas time, he got the news that he had ten, one centimetre tumours in his brain, and stage four lung cancer.
Still ever humourous he told me the other week that radiation therapy was not that therapeutic at all!
We wish this soldier, Jason Ashford, all our love, thoughts and best wishes in probably the biggest battle of his life.
