At $180.00 bucks you'd want a good warranty. What's the dimensions, I don't think they'll be popular but you never know.

I'd happily pay the $180, as room in my trailer is very limited.i need ULP for the quad and deisal for the hilux. If I do long trips, fuel jerrys take up a lot of room.
Also there are the 5 Lt ones that are attached through the middle, one of those on the quad could be handy.

I like metal ones too but dont get the el cheapo ones with the red paint/lining inside like I did. I am now having all sorts if problems with filters and fuel lines in various machines atm because the lining starts desintegrating and mixing with the fuel after a few years. Have a couple of plastic ones that havent given me any grief yet.

These are good, but 20 or 30 Lt ones suit me better, can man handle them, which is another consideration.

I've gone to 10L steel ones. They are a lot easier for me to load onto the truck and a lot easier to hold up when I'm pouring into the tank. I guess I'm just getting too old to lift things like I used to

Yes, I understand that Phil, I still use a big old steel ex army one which has year of 1952 stamped on the side. As it has never leaked i still use it as we are both same age. Called Jerry cans as invented by the Germans of course and the allies reckoned they were better than anything they had. Cheers.

Yep and as they split and spray fuel all over your nice hot exhaust ? Would probably work as the end result may well be that your vehicle weighs far less than it did Fuel tank yes , Max Trax no me thinks.
On big advantage I can see with these is that standard Jerry cans unless in a holder are hard to securely fasten to vehicle where these could be strapped very easily. Big plus IMHO
