One perfect morning (today):

I found some silver at the beach:

Some of the charms and beads were still on the open length of bracelet, others were scattered down the sandhill in the foreground of the first pic above (total find weight is 22 grams). If you look closely at the left-hand side of the clasp, you can see the broken link that caused the loss.

This earring was elsewhere and looks like tarnished gold plate; but for the 925 marking, I'd have assumed it was just junk jewellery.

Congrats....looks like a great place to detect, peaceful and picturesque. Great finds. I miss detecting on the beach (torn tendon in right elbow), can't wait to get back to it.

Great score GS amazing how the white markings on your dogs chest look like a cat(on your avatar).

Your scenery looks a stark contrast to down here at the moment, needing 4 layers of clothing for detect. Congrats on the silver. :)

T H A T,.... is a work of art,....and that rainy weather,.....just softens the ground(nicely). :)

Lovely mate, any sign of its mate? :D

Sadly, I only ever find single earrings. A woman I spoke to about it told me that when you're wearing earrings and take clothes off over your head, they usually snag on one side or the other - not both - so maybe that's how so many single earrings get lost?
