shallow water

hi everyone,

going to try some shallow water hunting, anyone have some tips for me? is just inside the water best or waist deep. thanks

Hi Kirk

It depends on the terrain of the sand - look for rocks and places treasure could get wedged in when the tide pulls the targets back into the ocean. Where ever the gutters and rocks are - that's where you want to look - it may be at the waters edge or it may be several metres into the water. I have found that the hard sand with corrugations on it from the wave action doesn't hold much - it's the rocky bottom I have luck with but as they say - the treasure is where you find it!
