For me if I'm finding lead shot, nails and 22 bullets/cases then I take encouragement that it hasn't been flogged. When you don't get any targets at all, that's when you worry

Take your point ColinD but its like prospecting on a rifle range. Too much time digging because there is so much junk in the ground. Anyway, I am happy with what I am hearing and if I can shift the ratio shells to gold I will be very happy.
