A member here who was recently over here said he ran into another prospector (detecting illegally) and during the small talk he remarked how the cattle were in good condition.
The illegal prospector replied "I'll go you halves in one".
We find dead cattle often. Just a back strap and a couple of roast taken, enough meat to fit in an engel for a week or two. :N:

Sorry to hear that MT. I'm just a naive detectorist, but hope for better from our fellow prospectors. Sorry that these buggers give you so much grief.

But we must remember that those thieving scumbags are nothing like the .... er... thieving scumbags on here lol ,.... what I mean to say is that those thieving scumbags must be the ones with detectors that frequent some other forum that actually promotes and encourages that sort of behaviour ,.... cause there seems to be an absolute absence of that kind of person that sticks it out on this forum (whew) ,... glad I managed to get that out correctly people ! (ha).

I just get sick of people blaming not having a job, doing it tough or some1 has something they don't give them the right to steal. scumbag is to nice!
