Were an active lot of rubbish removers us prospectors and time and time again we are accused of causing damage to waterways and the land. How about we show all of our pictures for junk, lead, mercury, tools all the crap we pull out of the ground and waterways that is no longer contaminating due to our hobby. If you've taken a load of rubbish form the bush back to the tip or even cleaned up a few cans at a camp site its important that people know we care about our bush and our country and we don't need to be locked out.

Ok GD, I'll help kick it off by showing my sorting table and 4 buckets full that still need sorting and my lead and other metal buckets that are sorted(some are keepers) and an artillery gun that I'm planning on silver soldering into reality in the future out of some found bits and pieces(if I value add I should get more than weight value if I ever want to part with it).
It was a lot of digging and a lot of stuff just gets thrown out in the rubbish(still not sure if they take bulk dirt ridden crap or not).
here's 4 buckets that still need sorting.

This stuff on the sorting table has had the crap removed already as it was getting dark at the time and I need a bit of sunshine to help tell what is what sometimes to get it into the right bucket.

Of course by this time the coinage has been removed prior to bucketing(most times anyway,.. I still find a few occasionally).
I hope this helps everyone realise the worth of their "other finds". When I trade a bit of this I will have some metal needed for other projects.
So you can see just how much good stuff gets taken out of the ground,...I would dump at least 3 or 4 times this much as just rubbish removed from the environment,...And this is mostly just last years lot of finds.
Certainly a good idea for a thread GD,..well planned.
Silver.

Sure I just heard a big "POP" noise dwt(ha).

good ot see that none of the lead made it past the first 30cm leaving the rest of the matt to catch the fines. still yet to pan out i reckon 2.5kgs of lead in the final bucket
