can anyone recommend refiners/refineries in south Australia?

Have been given pieces of gold and would be interested in making them into a bar/coins preferably so they can maybe stamped with a family lettering.
does anyone/companies do this?
Are there any laws I have to consider?
Any response, additional info would be appreciated.

PW Beck in Adelaide are well regarded Australia wide:

About the only thing you need to consider is that once you turn your gold pieces (I assume natural gold) into bars/bullion/bullion coins then capital gains tax might apply if you sell them whereas natural gold is usually not subject to tax if sold by an individual not registered for tax.
"You may be required to pay capital gains tax if your investment grade bullion has a greater value at the time of sale compared to the value at the time of purchase." ABC Bullion
The way I read it is if it cost you say $500 to have your gold refined & turned into a bullion bar then later on you sold it back to a refiner or gold trader for $5000 you could be liable for CGT on $4500.
This would only really affect you if you needed to sell it to a business (gold trader, refiner) & probably not if sold privately. You'd need to get advice from an accountant.

Also to be Investment Grade Bullion the Gold must be 99.5% pure or greater.
