Hi,
I have a really large amount of quartz in my backyard we have been digging up to level the land etc.
how do I know if it is worth any value or if I should just clean it up and put it in my retaining walls.
I have no idea about any of it and I have tried google to see what Im looking for and well Im lost

Are you in a gold producing area? Are there any historic workings nearby?

Is it stained with rust and full of cavities? is it hard and solid or fairly easy to break up?

Stained with rust and full of cavities mostly some are really large and some are small. I dont know why but it is not letting me upload a picture. The smaller pieces seem fairly easy to break up. I think there was mining ten min south and half hour inland. Im on the coast a couple hundred metres from beach

Not too sure what you are asking.
Do you want to know whether the Quartz is worth anything or
could it be gold baring
As for Quartz being worth anything. I don't think so because
we would all be worth a fortune by now
All depends on where you are. As you are on the coast
probably not gold baring
