Dave 63, there are things going on quietly behind the scenes. Can't say too much yet but interesting collaborations between Aus and Russia. Will report further after more testing.

I have been reading about the new x coils from Russia. Spiral and bundle wind at same time. layful: Am I close

I messaged [email protected] about the x coils. He is located in NSW and is the sole reseller of the x - coil. I read about them on Detector Prospector Forum. He told me Reg Wilson is testing the 12"x6" x coil on the QED. I will be very interested to see the review when Reg finishes testing.

The coil are not cheap $650 AUD. The coils are not really available yet so hopefully the price will come down when in full production.

Indications are that the coils are very good.
