It's painfully obvious that you know nothing about the QED, and little about gold.

Honesty and integrity,i know a little about that,now i work in one of ozs largest gold mines,been prospecting for 22yrs,found a bit of gold including multi kg patches,just back with 4kg of specis (7000 and 45) off a virgin area last cuppla weeks and i had a qed,took about 2 days to know that i was wasting my time in wa with it,so ya right i know bugger all.....
Im upfront,so now tell us how the qed is approaching 7000 performance reg,as you state?

Ridge Runner, I have returned home while James is camping out at another spot tonight. He is holding the gold and has posted a photo of a couple of bits on Detector Prospector forum and intends to post more when he recharges some batteries. He is not a member here so cannot post on this forum. I will see if we can put some pictures up when he calls in here in the next few days.

The QED PL2 is certainly capable of detecting to a decent depth. I dont have the experience to say what they can equal or better in performance but i would be interested to know of another machine equal in performance for the same money.

Goldchaser, 22 years you say? I started detecting in 79 and was a tester for Minelab from the mid eighties till the early nineties, so in comparison you are still wet behind the ears, and hardly in any position to lecture me about experience or integrity. I have been self employed and have had a number of working claims and leases, not having the need to be employed by some mining company. I have detected patches and nuggets that you could only dream about.
The fact that you had a QED and could not master it only proves the obvious. You are not the sharpest knife in the block.

Axel is brilliant. One of those dogs thats just no problem wherever you take him. No hassle to other dogs. He just cant sniff gold FFS!
