Just spent 3 hour on the blower to my kids and grandkids.

My eldest was shopping today and looking at the empty ***** paper shelves as was another lady and remarked "disgusting isn't it, we're on our last roll and haven't been able to get a pack in 3 weeks"

About an hour later she was in the carpark putting what groceries she could get into her car when the same lady came up, handed her a 4 pack and walked off.
My daughter shot off after her and said "no they're yours!"
The lady refused to take them back, refused to accept payment and just said "pay it forward" and walked off.

:Y: :perfect:

I did the same today in work. Yesterday I was informed that one colleagues family were down to their last two rolls so gave them a few of mine. Offered the neighbor across the road a facemask for their ill husband but she declined on the basis ahe had 10 already
Hopefully the supply chain gets unstuck soon and these hoarders get what they deserve.

Explosive diarrhea ;)

I got a load I'd love to give away, I offered some to my brother about a month ago and he said no and that he had a preferred brand and now most of the stores where he lives are very low on stock,

I got over a 100 of the bloody things,

I did this in another way.

Kato and I ordered 2x hamburgers and drinks, the shop only took cash, but I was short.
He said it was ok and I could return later to pay.
This was our first visit and I did not know him from clay!

I did return after kindy pickup.
I owed $21, gave him a $50 and said to pay it forward, someone he could choose that was short like me and needed a feed, just tell them they are covered.
Peter is old school and reluctantly accepted it. The next visit he said we were square, I paid and reminded him he needs to help another person out.
He understood now.
Someone may be sick and need a feed, someone old or young it is Peter's choice now.

He is a rough old Aussie, but good old heart too !!

Is this the same country that came together during the bushfires? Im afraid not. There are two types of people. Givers and takers. Thats always been true. I just didnt realise the takers numbered so high. And, I didnt realise how naive I am. Sad, really. What a bunch of xxxxxxxxx. (Mods may remove the cuss word, but, strangely enough, auto-correct did not.) :N: ]:D

Same country it's just that the givers were out with the bushfires and the takers are out now.
