Problem folding Minelab SDC2300

Hi,
I have an SDC2300 that I bought used. I am planning a trip to the Philippines, which happens to have the second largest gold reserves and have friends there who are into prospecting and treasure hunting. I need to fold the detector to transport on the plane but am unsure how this is done and can't find any information. There appears to be a cam screw located above and behind the headphone jack that I suspect allows for the handle to collapse and probably also the knuckle to fold, but I can't turn it with soft jaw pliers and am reluctant to force it as it may not be the release actuator I am looking for. Can someone please advise me.......Thanks .
 
Firstly, sit down and with your left hand grip your SDC by the shaft with the coil pointed skywards and the battery compartment resting on your knee.
Now with the meaty part of your right hand give a firm whack to the back of the handle behind where the flashy lights are.
This will cause the handle to fold and slide up the two rods. Don't be gentle, you wont hurt it just your hand if you miss the meaty bit.

Now gripping the body of the machine in your left hand and the shaft in your right hand, tug the shaft towards the handle. Again don't be gentle. It's a tough little bugger and you wont hurt it.

Fold it 3/4s of the way towards the handle.
Now grab the coil and rub it 3 to 4 times firmly against your balls then rotate it until it sits snugly against the shaft then continue to fold it down against the side of the body.

* rubbing it against your balls, while not necessary to complete the folding procedure, it does feel good and I highly recommend it.

If all else fails, give the handle a squirt of W.D.40 to lubricate it and blow the accumulated dust/grit out. Mad Tuna, this doesn't apply to you as I've just had a horrible vision of what you'd do if you got a can of it in your hands!
