What about for the gpx4500?

Contact Nugget Finder and ask them :Y: they've got no reason to tell you anything other than what their upto. It's their business to keep their customers happy and they do a good job of that. Let us know what you find out

G'day

More chance of getting next weeks lotto numbers out of them than what they are up to as far as new coils go  never even got a reply back to the last couple of emails I sent them.

cheers

Any1 one got any news on this regarding the development of new next nuggetfinder range of coils for the gpx minilab detectors great if they are developing now for next year 2021

Tim, the way things are going and hsve progressed over the last couple years I would not be holding my breath. Could be a couple more years yet.

Evolution will be the current newist range of nuggetfinder coils for the gpx detectors for at least the next 4 years. Nuggetfiner got back to me saying this and evolution are there latest in technology and will be the latest for a few years to come.

With the evo coils they may introduce a couple of different sizes of the evo like an 8 inch once say that's about it.

I heard Rumours a smaller elitical 9/5 evo cant wait for it it gonna be awesome for tight spots n in the creek. Tearing the Sadie a new arse. If true I cant wait.

Out of interest I decided to check my records for Evo coil sales. Here's how they rank from best seller onwards:

1. 15 & 17x13" Evos share first place. 15" evo rules by a bees whisker with one extra sale

2. 19" and 12" Evos share second place - exactly the same number sold

3. The 12x8" & 14x9" Evos share third place, and only just behind

The rest are smaller numbers of the 24" elliptical, 25" DD and 25" Mono which is understandable seeing as they are the newer products, and also more specialised coils.

Hi mate. I dont think its possible to do a fully flat wound coil in an 8 as there is the same amount, length, of wire in a 12 as there is in a 24. The windings would be too close to each other from side to side and interfere, maybe even touch. I enquired about an 8 a few yrs ago and that is what I was told. The width of winding also decreases as the coil gets bigger.

If the 12 inch already finds tiny bit and the 8x12 even smaller and the Sadie tiny as well Id imagine the only real advantage will be running smoother again?.
