Plastic flywire sive for detecting

Made a fly wire sieve for detecting, 2 plastic pot plants, plastic fly wire 4 cable ties. Select pot of size you like, cut one at 2" and one at !", throw bottoms and keep tops, put fly wire between the 2 and push together, make sure wire is tight, drill hole and cable tie. presto non metal fine sieve.

Will post as soon as the camera comes back from a school trip, I find the sive helps in gravel or trashy ground, I scratch the hot material into the sive and run the detector over it. I also use a plastic saucer from under a plastic pot when detecting in water to get the hot material above the water, plenty of room to sort it out.

limpalot....what sort of life do you get out of the screen when "sieving" sharp angulated quartz and ironstone as part of the dug material?

I like the idea, just wonder on the lifespan...

Hi Gypsy, don't use it as a sive much, used to sort dig from detector find. sorts dust etc, from larger bits and got room to separate and check with pin pointer.Camera is back , so got some pics.
