There's a lot in that photo! - I'm still looking for the bird cos I find myself distracted by the geology, especially a quartz piece in the lower right foreground containing what looks to be Stylolites. Depending on where you are in Australia stylolites are considered an "indicator". You might be on the money Nightjar

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Jennifer!Out detecting just north of the Whipstick a few years back, had to put the SDC down and just soak up the beauty of what jogged past me.... It was beautiful.... then I headed up to Tib and had to race to get to the gold before these buggers got to it.. LOL
