Phillip Island for 2 days

taking the kids down to the beach for 2 days of fishing
taking the X-Terra 305 that i got for $120 from a mate that got it to find gold, (as if)
anyway i got it so after an hr of fishing and the kids get really bored they can get the 305 and go find lost treasure
The 8 and 5 y/o are going to look for pirates treasure !!!!!

the 12y/o has taken notice of me on youtube with beach detecting and has seen all sorts of things come out of the sand.
all and all it looks like i will get more than an hr of fishing in, and the kids can amuse themselves for hrs,
so its a win, win situation!!! I get to fish and the kids can go 500m either side of me (so i can still see them) and find (pirate) treasure
and all the sinkers i have lost over the years!!??

It's blowing a gail down here at the moment.
Kids found a walkie talkie, 20 euro cents and lots of ring pools. Going do
Cowes this morning for a swing and a walk along the beach. So we will see how many more bottle caps and ring pulls

Keep at it mate. Remember to focus on high traffic area's like entries / exits, direct paths to kiosks etc.

Spent 20 min on the beach before we almost got blown off.
Think we where practicing for clean up Australia day.
Bottle caps, and ring pulls
Found $3.71 cents in coin. But with high tide and big waves we had to stay up high on the sand.
