I received a scam email this morning from what looked like Paypal saying "Dear customer your account had been limited" and that I need to click the link to log in and fix the issue. If anyone here receives the same email DO NOT click on the link. Paypal will always have your name or business number in the heading. I've never seen this email before, not sure if it's a new scam or an old scam but it's definitely a scam and it looked like it was actually sent from paypal.

Just a heads up.

I have been getting scams from ebay for over 6 months. Its hard to know if your Arthur or Martha these days. I just ignore them all until someone shuts me down and then I know its a real one. LOL
These scammers are *******s

If you get an email from Ebay just delete the email without looking at it then visit Ebay and login. Any emails they send should be CC in your messages inbox :)

Yeah I just emailed them about it. It might be a new scam that they are not aware of yet.

Thanks for the heads up. Just told my young bloke not to open any PayPal emails (he likes to check the emails).

If you have a shared email account make sure you tell everyone who accesses your account to be careful.

Pay pal - Ebay - Banks - Transport companies , ATO - 1001 scams

And if your subject to their hint of financial gain or loss due to some technical issue = Your stuffed.

See so many going - got an e-mail from DHL about a parcel for me = the emotional trigger pulled ( don't touch - step away from the KB ) but many can not help themselves.

I get about two of those a week, along with emails from banks I don't even have accounts with.

Also get lots about products to improve your sexual performance, although I suspect it's just the wife sending those :p

Another good one is an email claiming to complete your transaction after dealing on Ebay.
Gets sent to Ebay. :D

I always ignore any regular emails regarding paypal, and only rely on information or notifications when logged into my actual paypal account. If there are no notifications when logged in, it is most likely a scam email trolling for personal info, or at worst, financial details. :)
