Well mate, thats television...
That 5 mins took all day to do.
There was a lot more footage taken ,including calling in an expert on yoyos to give his appraisal
At the end of the day i got the $100 plus a signed cricket bat (cant remember who by) for my mate who took a day off work to take me there. The bat was $100 on the wall.
So for the experience of it all was well rewarded i reckon. They have actually contacted me again for another feature, but i declined.
A couple of bizarre coincidences happened though....
I had been selling a lot of my collection on ebay and gumtree ( thats how the scouts got in contact with me)
When i arrived and met the guys in the morning, Shanon bosted how he had just scored an old wood and tin yoyo(also coca cola - pretty rusted)on ebay the night before. $180 .... Ye thanks ,thats mine too.

Second scene on the show, a van (Global Food Equipment) drives passed the shop in clear view.
Thats who i was working for , drove in identical van myself , i guess one of the Sydney techs had a job in the area
That blew me away when i saw that.
