Another very wet day today
...but that wasnt gonna stop me ;)
This site dates back to 1800's and is covered in nails and burnt debris, so i put on the 9"x5" coiltek and headed off
I did get a few larger items ,but they're still in the boot covered in mud :lol:

I think the oval thing was probably a brooch

Well done on the cricket buckle, you would think with all the cricket fields I hunt, I would have found 10 of these by now 8.(
 
The Cricket Buckle is a great find

There is hundreds of different versions , most were worn & thrown away before 1890 ...!
