Today i tried something a little different
Hunting in the river ....
I did give it a go a couple of months ago(VERY BRIEFLY) when the water level was much lower and more favourable .... but , damn it was COLD :lol:
I was certainly happy to pull a silver ring on my first go

This mission wasnt exactly easy and is going to require a bit of a learning curve
There seems to be a fair bit of iron out there too , so will try using the 6" coil next time
My recent ,purpose made tool, works really well :Y:

but im gonna have to get one of those strong magnets which should help sort out some of the iron targets

That's a good outing hitting on a silver ring mate and in a river....I must admit I am starting to like Beach Water detecting and am going to have to do something about the coil so it doesn't leak....It's so quiet and only beeps on a target.... :Y:
