Hi forum members,
Got this message from the Mrs this afternoon...... OMG, OMG, OMG.
Attached was this photo of one of our pups next to this 4foot black snake which they had killed. There was a bite mark on the tail where one of them would have grabbed it and shaked it until it was numb enough kill. They are our HEROS today and we are grateful that they were not harmed. Just remembering Madtuna's sad day when he lost his beloved Elvis to a snake.
Our pups are Jack Russell x fox terrier x cavalier or xxx mongrels.

They were cross at the snake too Bob. :D
Looks like it was trying to drink their water.
Your doing the right thing by feeding them from up there too,... no way I'd be going down there with them,... looks like all the others are chemelian cross. :D

We've got lizards in the yard, so I think the snake wanted some lizards for lunch but didn't make it

Must be water around you somewhere? Maybe a neighbors pool or something. We sometimes get snakes coming from the paddock across the road and they are normally heading for the neighbors swimming pool for water.
