opal and cystal

hello have been mining out west last few years (opal).
Have been cutting back and spending time around Glenn Innis and Inverell prospecting.
Having lots of fun. Hard to find some access to areas around Inverell due to nearly all being private lands. Anyone know some areas.
I can give some good fossicking areas for opals koiriot , yowah , Quilpie.

I received a mud map today for amethyst and thunder eggs, but from what I recall of the area its in the middle of a army training base, that could be a problem.

I am going to Inverell end of week ,will probably spend a day at Tingha mine for the smoky quartz
