Hi All,
A mate told me about an area where there once was a prison and a few houses early 1900's, I did some homework on the area and headed out there early this morning. I was hoping for some pre decimals and relics, thought I might find an old brass padlock but only found the usual junk the only coin was a one cent. I will be back as its a big area and I don't think its been hammered by others.

Plenty rip caps 1970's found these front of house.

Good work mate. Looks like a Cap gun that I had a s a kid and the wick winder off the old kero lamp has seen may nights use Im sure.
And those bloody ring pulls. Thank god they banned hem.

Awesome work mate there would have to be some more really interesting finds in that place.

That copper or brass contraption under the cap in, know what it is? I've found the exact thing on a permission a few weeks ago. Only thing I can think of is maybe an old magneto off a tractor of car?

Still to get an ID on it.

I went back to the old Gaol Site today I found a 1960 penny and a 10c and 2x2c coins as well as other bits n pieces.
