Hey guys, any idea's as to what this may have been off?
It still has some material attached to it.

without knowing the size of it i would guess a serving platter, ,or carving platter the 2 holes may have held small spikes to hold the meat in place

It's only about 4cm or so wide.

Could it be a womens hair clip?. The two holes could slide through a piece of ivory or something similar to create a clip. I’ve seen some made of leather like this before. .
