Old Buckle found in Clermont

Hi, I found this buckle while detecting in a GPA at Clermont. There appears to be a cat? Emblem on back and some border decoration on the front. Composition could be brass or pewter but when I look under a jewellers loop it looks like it has some random gold and silver e.g. 2nd last photo. Can anyone ID what type of buckle and possibly type of metal it is made from. Thanks in advance.

I think you'll find this to be a suspender buckle... Brass... Circa 1800s
