I doubt it because I have no idea what that means. LOL.... :p

Sigh!

These young fellas just aren't savvy any more Jaros.

****, you are excused if you're not old and you haven't lived in Oz because PMG stood for 'Post Master's General', a federal government body that oversee-ed (is that a word?) the telecommunications sector. I assume Jaros was referring to the telephone maintenance sector where all the bright aspiring technicians cut their teeth. Jaros was known to have been nimble in his younger days and shimmied up those telegraph poles like a possum. Of course on the way down his nether region suffered badly from all of the splinters and that's why he's never had any kids.

Are you wanting to see the scar tissue from all that shimmying up and down poles??
Actually I moved between the Exch. Maintenance, Exch Installation, Subscriber equipment installation maintenance and fault repair.
I never did the pole dance. :)

I'm going to have nightmares tonight! :awful:

Thanks for clarifying....no, not a pole climber. Might have unknowingly done that one Saturday night when I was young but I don't remember. In fact I can't remember what I had for breakfast.

I'm 78 now and feeling all the effects of aging. Arthritis, neuropathy (despite not being diabetic) and sight problems (having cataract surgery in October). Don't get out detecting much anymore and stay in touch via my blog, Stout Standards.

Not much of a talker on forums....more of a stalker though my motives are honorable.

Have a great day (or night I guess it is for you all)....

Possum is like a cross between a chipmunk and a raccoon. .... but sleeps all day and steals fruit n nuts in the night.... known to grab lady's handbags to run off with them if they contain ginger nut biscuits (at night at picnic tables in the forest)... will sneak into your backyard and hiss n roar at your dog in the dark to get back at it for scaring it the night before last.... and will continue night after night untill it finds a mate and better entertainment. Your dog will only run out into the dark after the possum when you walk out the back door, otherwise the dog will just spend time cowering in its box/room hoping the posssum either forgives it .... or leaves. The dog only ever shows its bravery in company... as it's not stupid, and will not wate energy wantonly with no one watching. :p

I must have missed something Silver. Why did you need to explain to **** what a possum is.

Cheers

I am 74 and I think I live the local "Home for the Bewildered", and like you I enjoy cruisin' the posts, although I do get sucked in to comment sometimes. Enjoy the rantings of those 'downunder'.
