What a morning. 10.2 grams of smile-on-the-dial, AND an 1816 George III something. I think it's a shilling. Can just make out a coat of arms on the back.
And, joy of joys, never touched the nug with the pick. :D
But buggered for I don't know how long. Jury duty 2morrow. With luck I won't be selected.

Hey Mozzie,
Great little picker there!, nice job. Did you do a happy dance when you found it?
And is that coin silver?

The 1816 silver shilling had the following properties.
Composition: Silver
Weight(g): 5.6552g
Weight(Oz): 0.18 Oz
Fineness: 0.9250
Net Content: 0.17 Oz (5.23g)
Bullion Value: $3.26
Diameter: 24.00mm

I'd be happy with the 5 cent piece! TT

:) Thanks all. No jury duty 2morrow so I wonder what I'll do?
Hmmmmm.................might have to force meself back out with the 5k.
At about the speed of light.

Fantastic Mozzie..what was that song ..I think it was by Mental as Anything.."The Nugs are getting bigger"

Hope you took my advice mozzie and went looking for a bigger jar. Keep this up and I'll send you down a bucket. Well done and hope they keep getting bigger.

Cheers Wal.

Thanks Wal. Be nice to score some more but stoked with what I've got so far this week. Bit over 11 grams and a few neat coins. Oh, and about quarter of a ton of junk.
