Hi all,
Thankyou for opening the gate and having me here.
Im located up around the NIMBIN area, and quite often hit the creeks and rivers (the Clarence, the Mann, Rocky river, and many of the good looking tributaries in the area) although often by myself.
Have been out Drake ways plenty, and have hit ewingar/paddys flat direction many times, and have won plenty enough out that way to keep me keen, although im always on the look and testing new ground on my travels.
Tooloom and south has some good gold, but theres a lot of landlocking goes on out that way, makes the creek hard to access.
Im always looking to hit new ground, (or old spots that are worth returning to) been loving the sniping, sluicing, or panning, and have recently picked up an Equinox 800 for detecting the bigger pieces.
Pretty keen to hit some new spots within a couple of hrs drive from grafton, as some bigger pieces would be mighty fine to add to the collection.
Ive been checking out around the woodenbong/urbenville/koralee area, with some suprisingly nice finds in some places.
Nothing to retire on, but definetely enough to keep me keen amd going back to explore.
Theres still plenty of treasure buried up in them hills...
Im definetely interested in sussing the back of Coffs, as those creeks and hills just seem to call me.
Would be great to do a weekend trip or similar and meet some like minded folks to have a scratch with, anywhere around the grafton area or surrounds.
Im always keen to suss out new potential spots, meet new people, and am often in the hills having a solo scratch on the search for the shiny.
It would be great to have a crew together (even just a couple of us) and do trips with.
Its always more fun when ya got someone to share the excitement of a good find with.
I look forward to being more engaged with this page, as there is some very valuable info to be found, and some good heads in the crowd.
cheers
Stevo.
