Hi all!
My names Chris and I'm new to prospecting. I have been reading, watching and learning a lot over the past month or so and I'm keen to get out and about and find some gold. I have been out only once test panning and managed to find a small speck of gold after digging out a crack in a creek. Funny part was I got the snuffer bottle out and used it to clear away some black sand from the gold and successfully sucked it up. Passed the bottle to the other half and a squirt of water came out and I feared the worst. Emptied the bottle back into the pan and it was gone! Lol. It sucks I don't have my first ever speck of gold stashed away somewhere to look at it but that's life, gotta go out and find some more!
