They are more interested in creating news, or editing it to be entertaining than just reporting the facts.
Idiots like Andrew O'Keefe, or Carl Steffonobody giving their opinions, then there is the project telling us how we should feel, or think about issues.....its everywhere on every channel, you have to filter everything!

I think everybody has done pretty well to remain civil but our arguing demonstrates Australian media is anything but non partisan. Still looking for suggestions. So far ABC :| and Aljazeera have been suggested. Also interested in website suggestions.

Actually, Neil Mitchell on 3AW 9-12am Melb radio is quite a fair level headed journalist, if you are not in Vic you can listen on the net.
He gives both sides plenty of curry and tries to fix the odd issue.

Does anyone remember that old saying, " no news is good news"?
Opinion is an inherit part of human nature and without it we would be a boring lot.
As others have said, you just have to filter everything and draw from a varity of diverse source's to get a bit of balance.
