No such thing as a non political / non commercial main stream news outlet , the only option I can think of is facebook or word of mouth

I think the ABC could be doomed if this forum represents how the average Joe feels about it. I have found some gems when it comes to following events such as this http://syriancivilwarmap.com but when you start looking at infomation like this then watch the news coverage of the same events the difference is shocking and leaves you wondering if it's worth watching tv at all ?
