Great stuff R roo!

Have spent a bit of time fishing and working in the general area of that photo.

Used to drag some big flathead out of the river using "mr twister" lime green soft plastics.

Just after a coal ship had been through was the best time.

Had never even seen a metal detector back then :lol:

A few good times were had at the "Brewery" too, best left off a family friendly forum though

Great town, great people and lots of history waiting to be discovered.

Would like to catch up with you "Novacastrians" for some detecting at some stage.
