Newby looking for an accessible area not too far from Brisbane

Hi,
I just bought a GPZ7000, don't have a 4WD and I live in Brisbane and I am just looking for some tips on where I can go that I can access, including some hiking of course.
Gympie looks like it may be either difficult access or mined out, ie Deep Creek. Warwick area looks ok, any suggestions?

Dont bother with Deep Ck Gympie.
It is very small, very overgrown & very trashy and in the middle of town.
It is the exact opposite of where you want to take a 7000.

Yes Warwick is a good starting point.
Plenty of info here in PA if you search but Durikai GPA is a good place to try
