Just started with an Equinox 800, been out exploring local historical areas, having a lot of fun detecting, found some interesting bottles so far, and a ring, and lots of interesting junk

Hi Dennis, the 800 is fantastic, turn it on, select a mode, and away you go.

Picks everything up no worries, have found a small bullet case at 500mm depth. Pin point mode works well, usually I find the artefact with a screw driver with a few pokes. Nothing of value yet, but having fun getting out there
