Careful, even if using a 4G capable SIM, the tracker may only work on 2G bands, and Telstra's 2G network shuts down for good on 1st December.

Ok well I was just looking at wifi connections as my car drove away and yes there is 2 sus detected signals 1 is called Telstra air and the other is called fon wifi both have a shield on the side would you think these could be of some concern ? Or would they more likely be personal security cameras, they are unlike the other 4 signals that the computer can detect as in the others do not have a shield beside them.. :/

I would say both those are harmless,do a search of both on google they are internet hotspots.You can buy GPS blockers that plug into you cig lighter. http://www.jammer-store.com/gps-blockers-jammers.html,

You could also do a hard reset on the phone,this will remove all added software.Back up your saved phone numbers first though.

I have just deleted the find my phone apps from both phones and disabled both blue tooth connections so if the unsavoury attention stops then I will know that it was possibly that what may have been the reason for my concern. thanks everyone that has helped guide me through this it is very much appreciated.. regards greencheeks77

Wow thanks GaryO even when I thought I deleted the find my phone app from the phone it was active behind the scene and I thought It was deleted and unable to still work! how wrong was I, I had to go into where you said and type my password in to physically deactivate it thanks for that

I took a look at these and then I considered the chance of picking up a signal anywhere where you're likely to find gold. I don't think there's much chance of somebody tracking down your favourite spot with a mobile phone

We all have our good n bad days at times, our worries and our woes, but at the end of the day, or the week, on here we can vent our frustrations, yell at the world with fist held high if we must, and then, when the new week unfurls and we see (or seek) the treasures of the earth lain bare before us we realise that we can still be here, talk to our mates, take another tac to life, push on forwards and upwards and everyone moves on with us to the new adventure/discussions/revelations and all is still well in the world ,.... that being said ,.... a happy medium and a happy missus can at times be two different things, and it is the happy missus that you want to wake up to every morning for sure.
